Alcohol Inks
My art journey with alcohol inks started after I had been painting with watercolors for a few years. Alcohol inks are known for their intense colors and fast-drying properties. When fluids are added, the medium flows in unpredictable ways, making it challenging to work with. My alcohol ink paintings utilize heavy layers and textures, similar to acrylic or oil paintings. By applying watercolor techniques, I am able to control some of the movement while still allowing spontaneity.
